Situated in the picturesque Marais area, Victor Hugo's house contains an exhibition of mementoes, books, ornaments and more, that illustrate the life of this famous writer. All the rooms have been restored in exactly the way he furnished them. Almost everyone has heard of this literary giant, an author who wrote countless works including "Les Miserables" and "Notre-Dame de Paris," but few people know of his other artistic talents. The museum reveals a number of drawings, pieces of furniture and photographs by Hugo himself.
