Near the place Princess Diana's, Princess of Wales tragic death occurred, near that underpass where the car accident took place, there was this memorial flame called The Flame of Liberty Memorial, and those who flocked to Paris to see the spot used it as a memorial for Diana. For 5 years notes, graffiti flowers and candles were placed there.
