After six long years of renovations at the Musee de l'Orangerie, Monet's Waterlilies (Les Nympheas) have never looked better. The artist's famed series is installed in two breathtaking galleries that were once hailed as the Sistine Chapel of Impressionism. Monet, however, is only one of many treasures in store at the Orangerie. This jewel of a museum is also home to the exceptional modern-art collection of Paul Guillaume and Jean Walter, featuring paintings by Renoir, Cezanne, Picasso, Modigliani, and Matisse.
